DELRAY BEACH · AFFORDABILITY

Is Delray Beach Expensive?

Delray Beach is not a uniformly expensive town. It has expensive pockets and surprisingly affordable ones within a few miles of each other.

Delray Beach is not a uniformly expensive town, it's a town with expensive pockets. Knowing which is which matters more than the town's average price, which doesn't reflect what any one buyer actually experiences.

Where it gets expensive

East of Federal Highway, and especially anything close to the beach or Atlantic Avenue, commands a real premium. This is where walkability and ocean proximity drive price per square foot well above the rest of the corridor.

Where the value is

Head west of Federal Highway and prices come down meaningfully while you're still inside Delray Beach's zip code and school district. Many buyers relocating here are surprised how much further their budget goes just a few miles inland.
